Our boys have a billing error and the web goes wild. TechCrunch... down at comment 119 you will see my thoughts on this. Rack off yea bitchers and leave the guys alone.

As one of the first to notice the error I was on to them in 5 minutes after the bill arrived. The following was their response.

Hi Jon!

Ack. Through a COMPLETE bumbling on our part, we accidentally attempted to charge you for the ENTIRE year of 2008 (and probably 2009!) ALREADY (it was all due to a fat finger)!

I'm really really realllly embarassed about this, but you have nothing to worry about. You can just ignore any confusing billing messages you received recently; I already removed all those bum future charges on your account and fixed everything up.

Thank you very very much for your patience with this.. I PROMISE this won't happen again!

This mistake cost Dreamhost far more than any customer, it cost the customers naught really, it's cost Dreamhost at lot in transaction fees alone to reverse the payments.
